Coconut is a firm favourite of mine, and the addition of bran to this flapjack mix makes them the best I’ve ever tasted!

Ready to try it yourself?

You Will Need:
  • 150g unsalted butter
  • 150g golden syrup
  • Greased 20x25cm tin

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 190°C (170°C Fan), Gas Mark 5. Melt the butter and golden syrup together then combine well with the entire flapjack mix in a bowl.

Step 2

Tip the mix into the greased tray and level. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden.  

Step 3

Remove and leave to cool in the tray for 5 minutes, cut into portions whilst still warm.

My Hints & Tips to Bake Bold

Why not stir dried fruitor chocolate pieces into the mix and once baked, drizzle with melted chocolate - deliciously indulgent!
